WHAT’S CHAT: Angie Stone & Sunshine Anderson Added to “R&B Divas” Cast?

Blogger Funky Dineva spilled all the chat, saying that Nicci Gilbert, lead singer of disbanded group Brownstone, and Faith Evans will not be joining the next installment of TvOne’s reality show, R&B Divas. They will instead be replaced by Sunshine Anderson and Angie Stone? Say what?!…

Funky Dineva dishes:

Long story short, the folks over at TvOne conducted some marketing surveys and 95% of respondents stated that they did not like Nicci Gilbert. I think the general consensus is that people really didn’t care for Nicci’s attitude on the show.

Now many of you are asking, “didn’t Nicci come up with the show, how did she get fired and it is her show?” Let me help you out here. The “Executive Producer” title that Nicci Gilbert, Shaunie O’neal and countless others hold is not worth its weight in rice. All that title means is you are the person who is credited for the concept. Sure, there may have been some sort of commission paid out for it, but thats about it. R&B Divas is TvOne’s show NOT Nicci’s, hence why they were able to fire her.

Dineva also dishes that the show will be interesting because Angie Stone has, well, a diva attitude, and that she and Syleena Johnson are already butting heads because of their strong personalities.

Whew! Now that’s all the chat that I needed! But again, we picked this gem up from another source, so take this chat with one ear, not two…
