Well it looks like Chad caught a break…

Because he was convicted of domestic battery for slapping his girlfriend back in 2000, Chad could have easily been charged with a felony this time around.

Instead, because the prosecution chose to charge Chad with a misdemeanor, it’s very unlikely he’ll do any jail time.
