Only this time, I am bringing my love of up and coming talent in a wonderful new arena for the world to see it first. I wanted to separate the content of SLC with a whole new site dedicated to “YOUNG, FRESH, and NEW“, where they get more of the spotlight.

So, I know you were wondering what that image “THE BASSMENT” on the sidebar of my site was for. Well, today is officially launch day and you are cordially invited. I have been in the realm of up and coming artists for a while now and it has been an interesting ride. Some are amazing and deserve to be signed on the spot, while others however, are doing it for the love of the fame and need to look into an application to be a janitor.
The whole point of THE BASSMENT is this: ANY artists who I feel the world needs to hear. I don’t just promote anyone. I need to feel you. I need to understand your music, your story, and what you are bringing to the table. Ask yourself: do you see yourself singing on Ellen? Do you see yourself opening the TODAY show? Do you see a Grammy in your hand? Should we, the buying public, care about your shit?
This is why THE BASSMENT was born. I need my up and comers out that bass-ment and onto the main stage. While down there, my site is the place where I will promote the music, images, and whatever else to help them get from there to somewhere behind the velvet ropes. With my skillful wordplay and great eye for detail, the artist should definitely get some kind of buzz going.
