I know what you are thinking?

I know, I ask myself the same question.

Seriously though, I am a nobody. Well, right now I am a nobody. But I’m a nobody who has been writing for many years. Never thinking that I could gain an actual career in the entertainment industry from it. Didn’t even go to school for it either. Nope. I just know how to make magic with font.  I always got love from my writing back in the day, but you know I was hard headed. I done chased so many careers: model/actor, journalist, publicist, and image consultant. But, I never found joy. I thought they would help me get my foot in the door.

When I woke up out of bed, I did not feel any passion with those prototype careers. I thought I did, but I was just doing “it”. I always felt some kind of passion when I spoke to an audience with words. I also loved to see what people had to say. Chatting about the topic at hand and giving their opinion, whether wrong or right. Another passion of mine was I also loved celebs. I loved all the ratchet shit that my favorite (and not so favorite) celebrities did. I loved anything that went on in the entertainment world and how it all worked. I would also envision me being respected in the business and being in the mix of everything.

This is when I cut the shit and launched So Let’s Chat, coining myself, “The Anna Wintour of Blogging”. I’m not trying to be like other blogs out there. I don’t need to be at every event, reviewing everything down to the silverware. But, I do need to be at the RIGHT places, reviewing what is hot and who is on the come up. Also, throwing in who looked a disaster and who just needs to stay home and never be seen again. Oh, I don’t do non factors, so they will have a special section in a nice place I call “Shade Hell“. But, if you are nice, I’ll give you a little promotion.

Well, #teamCHAT will definitely have a grand ol time sending you a shade anthrax bomb. 

You see, I want a little bit of everything on SLC. I’m pretty bi polar with my entries, but one day when you don’t realize, it will all come together and you will see my vision. You will get so wrapped up in it and I will become one of your favorite bloggers.
