Obviously, Brian has jumped the shark.

I am getting all these late messages about Brian and his new song about working someone’s vayjayjay. Brian, has it come to this? 

His eyes look crazy in that entire video. Is he on drugs? Should we put him on suicide watch? I am so concerned…

Brian McKnight may be best known for songs like “Anytime” and “Back At One,” but his latest musical venture, an adult mixtape, made him a trending topic for all the wrong reasons Monday.

While he has pulled the video of the first song from his YouTube page and Twitter, titled “If You’re Ready To Learn,” the video has gone viral. In the video, McKnight talks about the concept for this “adult mixtape,” warning viewers it is not for everyone. He then begins to sing the chorus lines “let me show you how your p***y works. Bet you didn’t know that it could squirt. I have lots of things to show you, if you’re ready to learn.” For that very reason, McKnight had to defend himself for hours on Twitter Monday night.

“Okay im taking it down and ill never do

it again,” Brian McKnight said after defending his song for hours telling people “I thought it was pretty clever” and “it’s just an experiment.”

He went on to find it funny that people paid more attention to this than anything else he has been doing as of late.

“I’m putting up a safe song jeez no sense of  humor but i trended for a little while. Its just sad that this is what i had to do to get most of these people to even acknowledge me,” said McKnight. “I think I just mind effed the whole world this is crazy!!!!!”

While there are some people who said they liked the song, the consensus on Twitter is not hard to find. When you search for “Brian McKnight” on Twitter you’ll find nothing but jokes about the song and in some cases comments about how respect has been lost.

It’s unclear if Brian McKnight will push forward with this “adult mixtape” project, which he says came to him, ironically, while on Twitter.

“The other day on Twitter I had an idea about doing an adu lt mixtape. I asked everybody on my timeline, you know, what subject you would want me to tackle and there were some varied responses. Most people only want to hear me do one kind of song. But, there were lots of conversations I’ve had with men and women just about other sexual types of things I’d like to tackle.”

Maybe Brian should stick to songs like “Love of My Life” and “You Should Be Mine.”

Even Trey Songz is “smut-lite” with his sexual songs. Brian if you don’t SIT DOWN and try this whole situation AGAIN! Get on the keys and bust out a smooth r&b track STAT!
